Site Visit and Advisory Consultation for DIY clients
If you’re looking for a deeper understanding of your yard’s conditions or guidance on how to approach a gardening project, we would be happy to offer our expertise on an hourly basis.
Yard Maintenance
We’re here for the long haul–to get to know your space intimately and understand what it needs, season after season. Not your regular “mow and blow,” ecologically-minded maintenance with ReVisionary includes:
- site analysis
- soil and drainage evaluation
- application of permaculture principles
- weed suppression without chemicals
- seasonal preparation that protects winter habitat
Phased Landscape Interventions
For those unsure where to start with yard renovation or who want to phase improvements slowly over time, we specialize in identifying approachable, yet impactful interventions that can be made immediately.
Especially for spaces we routinely maintain, we’ll be able to observe the shifting conditions of your yard and offer interventions to undesired changes, and can easily make any changes you might seek along the way in an informed way.
- additional plantings for aesthetics and weed suppression
- removing and replacing diseased or undesired plants
- slow and phased improvements to your property and garden based on the seasons and long-term observation
Landscape Design and Install
If you decide you want to make significant changes to your existing yard or garden, you can also work with us and our landscape installation partners, Habitat for Home.
One form of community stewardship also happens through our Community-Based Workshops. Check out our WORKSHOPS section to learn more!
Educational Materials
As landscapers with creative roots and a passion for education, we think it’s important for people to develop an intimate understanding of the spaces they steward and enjoy. We often hear from clients that people walking past often ask them questions about their garden–we would love to offer educational materials custom to your yard, either for your personal use or the benefit of your neighborhood.
- Field guides
- Maintenance manuals
- Plant identification tags
- Story of your yard
- Signage
Hosting a Community Workshop
Whether you have specific topics or facilitators in mind or would like for us to take the lead, we love facilitating and coordinating immersive experiences that highlight ecological garden spaces. From pragmatic ecological gardening training to ethereal, artistic experiences, our strengths lie with engaging people to think and feel in new ways about their relationship to place.
