Cass is a poet, educator, and ecological landscaper. As an ecological landscaper committed to addressing the harms of settler colonialism, they co-create real and imaginary gardens – spaces for play, joy, and healing. With a background in higher education and over fifteen years of experience teaching in both academic and community-based settings, they’re committed to community-based education. They are also the creator of Vocational Poetics, a learning platform for working artists. They facilitate spaces for place-based creative practice, skill sharing, and redistributing resources.
